No White House Observance for National Day of Prayer

There was no White House observance for the National Day of Prayer this year, breaking tradition with many past years.

"We are disappointed in the lack of participation by the Obama administration," said Shirley Dobson, chairman of the NDP Task Force. "At this time in our country's history, we would hope our president would recognize more fully the importance of prayer."

The White House did eventually release a generic proclamation late in the day Thursday recognizing the National Day of Prayer.

This may sound ugly or even judgmental but I doubt this White House knows how to pray. Seriously we are known by the fruit we bear. I don't believe in any litmus test for Christians other than faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Christ. But all I have seen out of this White House is an anti-Christian attitude.
